High Mesa has a reputation as a bike store where if you weren't a friend when you walked in the door, you are when you walk out. For one thing, they are a great source of info on the local rides, including maps and trail guides, and they are obviously happy to provide you with it. If it is equipment or gear you're looking for they have, or can get it. In bikes they carry some product lines that aren't as widely seen, including Moots, and Surly.

Didn't have our bikes along on this trip, so we were mainly window shopping. One thing is the "and Gear" part of their name, they do live up to it and more.
