Sorry but there is no name on this bandshell. It is not fancy but perhaps it is functional. It is a non descript structure with not much personality. Marissa is an old coal mining community and this band shell kind of reflects the town's persona. I can't find any information on the bandshell but the other features of the park include a playground, war memorial, coal miner's memorial and the Marissa Academy - an old building on the National Register of Historic Places.
