The Crooked Creek crater is 7 km in diameter and is exposed. The crater was created 320 ± 80 million years ago. The crater is located in a rural area in the Ozark mountains region of Missouri. The coordinates listed are at the intersection of Swyers Road and Crooked Creek Road within the crater. The crater is visible but to the untrained eye it would appear like many other valleys in the area except for the walls of the valley are on all sides except interrupted by Crooked Creek running through it. I did find an interesting rock formation south on Crooked Creek Road at N37° 49.988' W91° 22.864' on the east side of road. Whether it had anything to do with the impact I don't know, it was just interesting. (Photo uploaded)
