Complete your trip by visiting the Denali Visitor Center located at the entrance campus of the park. The center offers Denali's visitors a chance to learn more about the park by interacting with rangers, viewing the award winning film "Heartbeats of Denali," and exploring the exhibit area.
The Nature Center begins with exhibits highlighting both the natural processes at work in Alaska and Denali National Park as well as the local wildlife. There is a small exhibit focusing on Native American history within the Park. This an area yet to be fully explored in Denali.
The building boasts a number of environmentally sustainable features including; integrated photo-voltaic solar panels on the south-facing side of the building and the use of rapidly renewable or recycled materials for items such as wall panels, acoustical ceiling tiles, carpeting, and engineered lumber.

Visitors should visit the Nature Center and post a photo of themselves (or GPS unit) either inside or outside of the nature center visited. Logs without photos WILL be allowed if a lenghty description of one's visit and a mention of what they learned is included.
