Abstract Public Sculpture - "Circle of Friends", St. Catharines City Hall, ON - Abstract Public Sculptures on Waymarking.com

According to the plaque, Rod Dowling, originally from Tasmania, has lived in St. Catharines for nearly a decade. He has created a large number of Steel Sculptures, many of which are on display across Niagara and Fort Erie. "Circle of Friends" was originally created for downtown Hamilton at the request of Hamilton's Downtown Business Improvement Association and was subsequently on display at Art Park in Lewiston until its arrival at St. Catharines City Hall.

This piece had some minor controversy when it was placed. However it is now a featured item in the St. Catharines "Public Art Pilot Project"
