The Dallas Museum of Art is located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas, next to the Trammell Crow Center skyscraper. The founding Dallas Art Association was formed in 1903; the present building was officially opened to the public in January 1984.

The Art Museum has collections from Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, Pacific Island, Ancient and Contemporary. Currently, the museum is featuring various contemporary art collections; coming soon, the museum will be hosting the Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs exhibit.
