The Essex Steam Train operates from Essex, Connecticut and the offers a one hour scenic ride through the countryside and small towns along the Connecticut River. The trip can also add a ride on a river boat on the Connecticut River. The train is operated by the Valley Railroad Company and has two restored steam locomotives and restored Pullman cars.
