Nunspeet is a little village north of Harderwijk and 17 km south of Zwolle. The plane crashed in a agricultural area with some farms between Nunspeet en Doornspijk almost at the border of the IJsselmeer.
(E)On 13 may 1943 in the middle of the night, at 2.00 local time, the Wellington HE-702 crashed here. Five crew-members died.
The Wellington was on a flight from Ingham (GB) to Duisburg (G)
De crew members are buried in the cemetery Harderwijk
(NL) Op 13 mei 1942, om 2 uur 's nachts, stortte hier de Wellington HE-702 neer. Vijf bemanningsleden vonden de dood. De Wellington was vertrokken van het vliegveld Ingham (GB) en op missie naar Duisburg
De bemanningsleden zijn begraven op de begraafplaats in Harderwijk.
