We saw lots of dogs on our walk in this direction, it seems like a very popular downtown dog destination.

It appears that a Chicago Dog Friendly Area (DFA) permit is required for all dogs entering the Chicago Parks DFAs. It also appears that these tags cannot be purchased at the DFA, and can only be obtained from a Chicagoland veterinary office. Chicago DFA information, including links to the DFA permit/tag process.
