Located in front of the old Covington courthouse. This monument honors those local soldiers how died for their country.

The area on which it stands was constructed in 1896.
It consists of a huge bricked area in which to walk around on.
The monument was added much later, but does not have a date in which it was constructed.

The entire area surrounding the monument is bricked and set as a walkway leading into the old courthouse. It was built in 1896.
