Trinity Episcopal Church was the first granite church built in Mount Airy with construction beginning in the spring of 1896. Today the church is a prominent landmark in the historic downtown of Mount Airy. It is listed on the NRHP. The steeple is small (not hardly as tall as the roof) but this makes it unique. It no longer houses a bell.
