We live in Jacksonville and decided to head to Jacksonville Beach to search for the International Space Station since there wouldn't be any trees to block our view. Well, actually, I (the Biologist of the team) decided to do this and the Marine offered to come along. He's gotten quite used to my waymarking obsession and has become my enabler. Anyway, we found a nice dark dune crossover and got prepared. It was cloudy, but there were breaks in the clouds so we kept our fingers crossed and our eyes open. Thankfully, we were able to spot the ISS as it moved through the breaks in the clouds. Success!
