For the last eleven years, these two private homes have created a twin Christmas display second to none. It is directly across the street from our municipal center. Scores of people can be seen in the early evening touring both properties for free.

Christmas & Halloween in Western Cherry Hill have a permanent home on Mercer Avenue. These displays are HUGE. Thousands of people tour then two times a year, every year. Each year I speak to the home owners when we trick or treat or when we visit in December and they both always say the same thing: "We do it for the kids". Santa Clause will be in front of the house to greet the children from the 12th up until Christmas Eve. The detail, work and effort is simply amazing and we are all grateful and appreciative for their dedication to continuing this tradition.

I visited this display last night with my kids and they were amazed. It was all I could do to get them to leave to go home for bed. There is just so much to see and my pictures simply do not do it justice. The effort put into it is extreme and the various pieces which make-up this tribute to the holidays is as complicated and intricate as it is beautiful and whimsical.

Each year, more pieces are added, more lights are strung up and more people attend. A empty, commercial water jug sits on one of the porches and visitors traditional toss in money to donate to the cause, thus assisting in what must be a HUGE electric bill. The one question I wanted to know I forgot to ask. Where do they keep all this stuff during the rest of the year?

Please park directly across the street on the municipal building side. It is a busy street so please exercise caution when crossing the street. The coordinates are for the center point between both residences.
