From the Desert Botanical Gardens website:
Open for its fifth year, Mariposa Monarca celebrates the beauty of the monarch butterfly and its amazing migration. Hundreds of fluttering monarchs surround you as you stroll through the lush flower-filled pavilion. A tagging demonstration will be held each Thursday at 1:30 p.m., as part of the Southwest Monarch Study, a research project that is tracking the migratory patterns of monarchs across Arizona. Due to popular demand, the tagging demonstrations require a reservation – email monarchs@dbg.org or call 480-481-8128. Please leave your name, phone number, tagging date and the number of people in your party. Reservations will be accepted beginning September 27.
The Mariposa Monarca Monarch Butterfly Exhibit at the Marshall Butterfly Pavillion is such a beautiful sight!
