Maramec Spring is the 5th largest spring in Missouri with 100 million gallons of water flowing from here daily. The cool water is a great place to raise trout. Some of the water is diverted to man made canals with a walking path next to them. This place is unique in that the rearing streams blend nicely with the natural beauty of the hills and trees. When the trout reach 12 inches in length, they are released into the Spring Branch River. Visitors can feed the trout by using the feed located in nearby coin operated machines.
