This weathervane sits on the former Mason Regulator Company building, now Standish Village at Lower Mills senior housing.

The large weathervane that sits on top of a conical roof of a brick tower is a relic of the company that used to occupy the building. The weathervane still works, but it looks like it either was altered or damaged. The center is mostly hollow. Likely there was lettering in that hole, especially when "Co" is visible in the arrow portion. The length is about 5 ft.
The weathervane is visible from Adams Street, a main road that leads from the Lower Mills Village, where the weathervane is in, to Adams Village in the Dorchester sector of Boston. The weathervane is about .25 miles east of the intersection with Dorchester Avenue and Washington Street, and is at the intersection of Medway Street.
