This old fountain is not nearly as old as the Serrano home (which dates to the 1840s). In 1965 it was dedicated in memory of Prof. Frank Emilio La Cauza, erected by his friends.
At a recent date, the fountain was turned off and converted to a small planter.
Since the MHAA owns the building, the garden open to the public during daylight hours
Setting: Outside

Place: courtyard behind Casa Serrano

Use: planter
