Other observers were DopeyDuck in Springdale, UT and Mark 1962 in Garden Grove, CA. Rancho Santa Margarita is 349 miles from Springdale. The time the ISS took to travel the whole distance (not counting the one hour time difference) was 12 minutes and 9 seconds.
The sky in Rancho Santa Margarita had low clouds (the early start of a fog bank that night). The sky in Garden Grove was partly cloudy. The sky in Springdale was clear and the stars were just coming out.
