A late change in the capacity of this arena caused a redesign of the entire structure. Architects created an arch of pitched truss members as a major support perpendicular to the axis of the arena. It was also decided that instead of hiding the truss members, they would comprise a primary facet of the cosmetic theme. The primary roof truss is 25 feet high, and at each end the pyramid shape is subtly emphasized with glass and lighting. Many smaller truss forms are emphasized in the design, but the primary pyramids are best viewed from >100 meters away.
