Inside the U.S. Space Walk of Fame Museum, now permanently located near Space View Park in downtown Titusville, you will find many one-of-a-kind, priceless artifacts and displays donated by the astronauts, space workers, NASA, and space contractors involved in the various manned missions.

The museum also houses working consoles from Launch Pad 36A and a Model 4 Sequencer from Launch Pad 16. These are also used in many of our education exercises in order to give students hands-on exposure to the mission control environment. While some of our rarer artifacts are housed behind glass, we try – wherever possible – to provide a tactile experience for young and old alike. Studies show that the ability to “touch” history and technology gives individuals a better understanding of their personal connection to it.

Our classroom area contains everything from glove boxes that allow students to experience what it feels like to work in space, to kits for building “bristlebot” robots, to dozens of items necessary for experiments and activities, as well as wide screen TVs for lessons and demonstrations.

Located right in downtown Titusville, the facility is easily accessible to schools and individual visitors from Brevard, Orange, Osceola, Volusia, Lake, and Indian River Counties.

The facility itself is divided into exhibit halls dedicated to Project Mercury, Project Gemini, Project Apollo, and the Shuttle program. We are in the process of an exciting "Museum Refresh" and are updating interpretive signage and adding new displays and artifacts daily! We are also implementing a Makerspace for grades K-12 that will be known as the Children’s Discovery Room.

We have also rebranded our gift shop -- and it is now known as The STEAM Shop, featuring items that tie into all the STEAM disciplines...Estes rockets, circuitry boards, microscopes, telescopes, model airplanes, forensic kits, crystal or volcano kits, building projects, and so much more (even for the youngest innovators!) Remember us for Christmas, birthdays and school projects! We can also special order items for you -- and get them in a matter of days! Come see us at 308 Pine Street, Titusville, FL.
