Standing Cedars Land Conservancy - Public Access Lands on Waymarking.com

The waymark is a disk embedded in a concrete post projecting 6 inches stamped W-27 Department of the Interior National Park Service 12/79. It is in a wooded Oak Savannah area south of a large prairie in the Buffalo Skull area, a 245-acre property including dry cliffs, oak savanna, a moist ravine, maple/basswood forest, and former farm fields. The Standing Cedars Community Land Conservancy was founded in 1994 to protect land along the Lower St. Croix River, for the health of the river valley and as a legacy for future generations. It is open to the public, foot traffic only.
Parking is available on the right side of the road 1/2 mile west of the corner of 280th Street and 55th Avenue.
