What Is the ReStore?
The ReStore is the Habitat thrift store which takes in new and used home furnishings and sells them at a reduced cost. The ReStore offers the community an active venue for reusing/recycling building materials and home furnishings that would otherwise be thrown away.
All funds raised support Athens Area Habitat for Humanity in its continuing effort to eliminate poverty housing in Clarke, Oconee, and Oglethorpe counties. In addition to free pickups, all donations to the ReStore are tax deductible.
Donations
The store makes free pick-ups of new and gently used donated items. All donations are tax deductible. Donations can be picked up until 2:30. Please call 706-354-0936 to schedule a pick-up time.
Items Needed: Wood blinds, door locks, sinks, air conditioners, nails, hinges, box springs, heaters, small storage, roofing material, light fixtures, shower fixtures, screens, plumbing, kitchen fixtures, beds, chairs, tables, cement blocks, bricks, glass doors, bicycles, cars, plywood, mattresses, cabinets, chipboard, kitchen appliances, storage buildings, showers, shelving, bath fixtures, boats, airplanes, etc. We cannot accept paint.
