Music concerts are held here in the summer. A scenic train ride takes visitors from the small town of La Veta (or from Alamosa) in southern Colorado to this venue at 9230 feet elevation. Visitors sit on log benches or bring their own chairs after the 45 minute ride. The stage was built just this year, and recent concerts were hosted by Michael Martin Murphy of "Wildflower" fame. Also, the ride includes a delicious BBQ lunch.
