Along the Second Rd of Pattaya (one road back from the beach) is this largish and prominent outdoor eating area. There are 3 large restaurants and several more smaller establishments each selling western and Thai food to patrons. It opens for business at 08.00 and closes at 02.00. There are other small businesses nearby, including the sale of cuban cigars.
Tucked into a space between two of the restaurants is the shrine. It is in frequent use, signs of recent offerings are clearly visible.
If you do find yourself in Pattaya, and feel hungry late at night, it is worth your time to check out the food available here. All of the restaurants serve good food, and there is a multi-cultural mix of diners. The restaurants are open during the day, but open air restaurants in the heat of a Thai day are not the best idea.
