This is a second generation sycamore tree which was planted on 22 April 1996 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the flight of Apollo 14. Visiting this Waymark will require you to first access Redstone Arsenal (which requires proper DoD or NASA ID). Then you will need a NASA access badge (or an appropriate escort) to get through the gate to Build 4708 at the Marshall Space Flight Center (which is on the grounds of Redstone Arsenal). The moon tree is located at the posted coords which is in front of Build 4708. A small silver plaque is mounted at ground level between the tree and the building.
Type of Tree: Sycamore
