Broken Arrow is located south of Tulsa, OK. Creek Indians established a settlement in what is now the city of Broken Arrow. They called it BA because that's the name of the settlement where many of them lived in Alabama, before moving west on the Trail of Tears.
The plaque at this tree states it is one of the first trees brought to Broken Arrow by the settlers.
