Men of the U.S. Armed Forces dedicated by V.F.W. Post 10838 & Auxiliary and the City of St. Peters, MO.
To create this statue, Bill Rupp and Ray Eilmann, then men who designed this memorial park, acquired authentic uniform pieces, a real steel helmet, and a real M-1 rifle. They had a young man model the pieces, and was used to create a mold. From this mold the statue was cast.
Looking at the statue from city hall, he stands at the far left of a large veterans memorial. He is at the same elevation and in line with the WAC statue of the far right. They stand guard over the honored.
