Marker Name: The Cave
Marker Text: The “cave” across from this viewpoint is part of a well-defined lava tube. The water flowing into it appears to circulate and then return to the main channel, indicating the lava tube has collapsed some distance beyond the opening.
Although the Natural Bridge is still further upstream, this cave is a good example of how it was formed.
