At 10,834 Mt San Jacinto is the highest point in Riverside County. Located in Mt San Jacinto State Park, the only access is by hiking.

There are numerous trails one may hike to the summit, going from the aerial tram from Palm Springs is most common and the shortest and least elevation gain. There is a fee to take the tram, but no fee for the permit you need to hike in the wilderness.

One can also choose other trails that may have up to just under 10,000 feet of elevation gain.
