This stretch of beach is situated in Northland, south of Marsden Point on State Highway 1. The Department of Conservation has a camping ground next to the beach which is popular all year round. Generally the clothed swimming people use the north end of the beach leaving the southern end for the nude participants. If not using the camping ground there is a public access by foot through the camping ground or vehicle access to the left of the camping ground. The vehicle access has times when the gates will be locked depending on the time of year.
