This stone font stands in front of a stained glass window in the church of Clothall.

The font dates from the 12th century and is highlighted by the red and black tiled floor beneath it. It is made from Purbeck marble and has a square basin on a central shaft with smaller shafts at the corners. It has a tall wooden cover.

The church dates to 1350-70 with older stones in the foundations.
