This octagonal font is the modern one of two in this village church. It was presented to the church in 1853 by Mrs Tonge. It has a large, stepped plinth and coloured shields around the bowl with some fine decoration.

The other font is also octagonal and was returned to the church after being kept in the Vicarage garden. It is a medieval font. Perhaps the next visitor can add a picture of this one?

The church dates from the 14th century in its earliest parts.
Approximate Age of Artefact: 19th century and Medieval
