This Sheriff's Office is the Administrative Offices for the Department. Mission Statement for the Department: It's goal is to provide quality service to our citizens and community through honor, professionalism, commitment, and accountability. Current Sheriff in command is Charlie Ray Fox, Jr. Operational hours 24 hours a day. the Fauquier County Detention Center is located next door. this office is located in the heart of Warrenton, Virginia which is the County seat of Fauquier County. The Department works closely with other surrounding juristictions and agencys. Town of Warrenton, Virginia State Police. The Sheriff's office also runs animal control. The Counties Emergency Dispatch system is also run at this facility.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
