Approximately 100kms north east of Bangkok lies one of the 75 provinces of Thailand—Saraburi (Sara-Buri). A quiet province, with few tourists and few attractions, however its capital city (of the same name) does contain the provincial bus station. This station links the city to the rest of Thailand, to the neighbouring provinces, and the city to the districts and villages within the province.
The entrance to the station runs off the main street. The waymark was made at this point. Upon entry there is waiting area, and ticket counters, further into the station are bus bays, a central passenger waiting area, and at the rear of the station, a shop selling food, drinks, news papers, and so forth. Around the central area are to be found tuk-tuks, and "motor bike taxi drivers", ready to whisk you around town. All in all, a fairly standard design to be found all over Thailand.
There is a bus station sign, in Thai, outside the entrance to the station.
