Tento trigonometricky bod prochazi stredem makovice umistene na spicce veže katedrály Nanebevzetí Panny Marie v Kutné Hore - Sedlci. Ve stredu makovice ve smeru vodorovnem je nadmorska vyska 262.44 m n.m.
Katedrála Nanebevzetí Panny Marie mimorádne ovlivnila vývoj gotické architektury v Cechách, ve Slezsku a v Rakousku. Spolecne s chrámem sv. Barbory a historickým centrem Kutné Hory, je katedrála od roku 1995 zapsaná do seznamu památek UNESCO.
Stavba katedrály Nanebevzetí Panny Marie byla zahájena kolem roku 1280 v gotickém slohu. Dokoncena byla 1320. Je první katedrálou postavenou nejen v ceských zemích, ale i ve velké cásti strední Evropy a do dokoncení dostavby chrámu sv. Víta na Pražském hrade byla též stavbou nejvetší. Katedrálu nechali postavit sedlectí cisterciáci, kterí prišli do Sedlce již v roce 1142 na pozvání šlechtice Miroslava. V roce 1421 byl klášter vyplenen husity a katedrála zustala v troskách dlouhých 279 let. V letech 1700 až 1709 byla obnovena ve slohu barokní gotiky stavitelem Janem Blažejem Santinim.

Cathedral of Our Lady significantly influenced the development of Gothic architecture in Bohemia, Silesia and Austria. Together with St. Barbara Church and the historic center of Kutna Hora, is the cathedral since 1995, entered into the UNESCO list.
The construction of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was launched in 1280 in Gothic style. Completed about 1320, it is the first cathedral built not only in the Czech lands, but also in much of Central Europe and before of the completion of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague the cathedral was also the largest cathedral in Czech Republic. The Cathedral was built local monks who came to Sedlec already in 1142 at the invitation of a nobleman Miroslav. In 1421 the monastery was plundered by the Hussites and the cathedral remained in ruins for 279 years. From 1700 to 1709 was restored in the style of Baroque Gothic by Jan Blazej Santini.
