RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1952 IN ATLANTA. IN ATLANTA, DE KALB COUNTY, ABOUT 2.5 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF DOWNTOWN FIVE POINTS, 152 FEET NORTH OF THE PROJECTED CENTERLINE OF WOODLAND AVENUE, 36 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF THE CENTERLINES OF MORELAND AVENUE AND EMERSON STREET, S.E., 29.5 FEET EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OR 4.0 FEET EAST OF THE EAST CURB OF MORELAND AVENUE, AND 21 FEET SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF EMERSON STREET. A STANDARD TRAVERSE DISK IS STAMPED EMERSON 1927 1004.361 AND SET IN THE TOP OF A CONCRETE POST THAT IS 0.4 FOOT BELOW A CAST-IRON COVER WHICH IS FLUSH WITH THE SIDEWALK SURFACE.
