This treehouse is located at
Cayuga Playground in San Francisco. This treehouse,
one of three in the park, is a creation of
Demetrio Braceros, who was the city park caretaker at this park. Demetrio recovered down wood and trees from throughout the park and repurposed all wood in an artful fashion.
This large stump has been leveled off about 6 feet up for the floor of the treehouse. Logs and twigs have been nailed and lashed together to form a stairway up to the top of the stump. On top of the stump is a wooden railing.
The tree stump used to be painted white and have the features of an elephant painted on the stump, but being outdoors has weather the paint somewhat. The name sign is still visible.
