This mural is spread on four columns of an archway at one of the entrances to Coors Field Baseball Stadium (visit link) .

"Evolution of the Ball was even more fun. . . . Lonnie Hanzon headed up the project. It involved a lot of artists. I did the ceramic parts, which included 108 balls in nine different sizes and 108 different designs, which was so fun, to brainstorm the history of the ball or the evolution of the ball from the dung beetle ball to a Rockies baseball in 1995. Some of the tangents we went off on were Lucille Ball, debutante ball, a wide variety of sports balls, the 8 ball. . . . It is a very visible, lovely project that creates an archway on the esplanade through which you enter Coors Field. A lot of people see it. That's always nice for anyone's work. Barry Rose"
