Presented in framed, hanging pictures the Filby coat of arms is displayed twice inside the church. The pictures hang on either side of the entrance to the aisle from the west end.
The Filby Association regularly meet in the church with members from all over the world gathering all with a connection to the surname Filby and its derivations.
The coat of arms is based on the ancient de FILBY name found from records of the Norwich library in the book 'The Norfolk Armoury' by Benjamin Mackerell, (ref; Vol.2 page 81). The coat of arms was displayed in the church after authority for its use was permitted in the first Filby family gathering in 1971.
