Along the Northeasterly side (Cemetery side) of Santiago Canyon Road - there is *NO PARKING* on Santiago Canyon Road - we parked in the Cemetery and explored old head stones then walked to this and two other bench marks that are nearby.

MONUMENT IS LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF SANTIAGO CANYON ROAD AND AMAPOLA AVENUE, 75 FT. SOUTHERLY OF THE CENTERLINE OF AMAPOLA AVENUE AND 45 FT. EASTERLY OF THE CENTERLINE OF SANTIAGO CANYON ROAD. MONUMENT IS SET 1.0 FT. HIGHER THAN THE ROAD."
