Soundwalk is located under the sidewalk on Curtis Street next to the Federal Reserve building. The piece is unassuming to the eye - stainless steel grates in the sidewalk. But when a person walks by and triggers the motion sensors, the show begins! You may hear a drum piece, the subway (Denver does not have a subway!), chickens, etc. I have 'recorded' some of the current sound pieces (visit link) . There are many different pieces of sound; they change over time, so it is always a surprise! Sound Artist Jim Green's site includes this enjoyable video (it takes a minute or so to start) (visit link) .

This is an often overlooked (OK, maybe underheard?) public art located in downtown Denver.
