The Lansdale Historical Society has its headquarters in the Jenkins homestead and the adjacent Lansdale Historical Research Center. The Jenkins homestead is a circa 1770 homestead house which has been restored and is open to public tours. The Research Center houses the Society's large collection of documents and artifacts from Lansdale and surrounding North Penn area.
