The Washington Township Police Department was formed circa 1925 when the town consisted of less than 2000 residents. The department consisted of ten full and part time officers which covered a population about 2068 residents. This is much different than the Washington Township of today where the population easily exceeds 50,000 residents.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
