We sidestepped the longer lines at fancier cafes, for a quick bite here. We had good service, chose two of the home-style specials, and both ate heartily for less than $20.
This is a real deal diner. We spotted the Silk City Diner tag from the Patterson Vehicle Company above the door of a no longer used "front door". Patterson produced Silk City Diners from 1927 until 1964.
