This is a dutchman windmill, which is fully operable with all origin parts from 1880.

Es handelt sich hier um eine Windmühle des Holländertyps. Weitere Info
Die volle funktionsbereite technische Innenausstattung der Holländermühle stammt aus dem Jahre 1880. Die originale massive Eichenwelle ist allerdings ausgetauscht worden und liegt nun ausserhalb der Mühle.
Die Mühle läßt sich per Kettenzug (Gaffelrad) in den Wind stellen. Wenn die Mühle nicht in Betrieb ist, sind die Segelflügel nicht bespannt.
In jedem Jahr ist am 1. Sonntag im September Tag der offenen Tür. Außerdem sind bei vorzeitiger Anmeldung Besichtigungen jederzeit möglich.
