The Beatles played here August 30, 1964 at the Atlanitc City Convention Hall during their first US tour. See photos of the tickets (which ranged in price from $2.75 to $5.50! here: (visit link)

This 2007 news article (visit link) by concert-attendee Larry Kane, has some additional information about the Atlantic City concert-- including the fact that The Righteous Brothers, who had been the opening act for the Beatles quit because they were totally outshadowed by the Fab Four. They were replaced here by Clarence "Frogman" Henry. Kane also informs us that the Beatles used a decoy limo to distract their fans.
