The hike up Monument Mountain is a great scenic hike waymarked as WM9RXR. The best views are below the south summit. At the highpoint of the south ridge is a cairn in the form of an Inukshuk. This is one of many elaborate cairns built on the summits of the Sooke Hills, a hikers paradise west of Victoria BC.
