Richards Drugs has been in operation at 324 E. Main in Shawnee, OK since 1939. Current owner, Gordon Richards, Jr. is the son of the founder. This is a full service pharmacy and gift shop.
In 2008, Gordon Richards commissioned mural artist, Beth Spieler, to paint a mural on the east side of the building. It depects a group of people pulling the wall open to reveal the design of Richards Drugs 50 years ago. The original owner and employees are shown in the mural.
