This is Durham Region's 1st Habitat ReStore, close to Highway 401 (Highway of Heroes) and was only opened a year ago.(2009)

ReStores are building supply stores run by Habitat for Humanity affiliates that accept and resell quality new and used building materials. Shopping at a ReStore is a socially conscious decision, as funds generated are used to fund Habitat homebuilding projects. As well, shopping at a ReStore is also a socially conscious decision, as much of what is sold at ReStores is product that is new, gently used or customer returns that would otherwise end up in a landfill.

All building materials. All furniture that is NEW, (including show rooms)
Used:
Fridges & Stoves, less than 15 years old.
Washers & Dryers, less than 15 years old
Bathroom fixtures, less than 15 years old unless antique.

Every Habitat for Humanity ReStore is different and offers a unique shopping experience.
The inventory is always changing, as items are donated daily by corporate and private donors.
- You can expect to find items such as lumber trim, windows, doors, paint, hardware, plumbing fixtures, tools, lighting fixtures, and appliances.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Monday - Friday: 8:30AM - 6:00PM
---- Saturdays: 10:00AM - 3:00PM
Closed on Sundays and Statuary Holidays.
