EcoWorld Aquarium & Terrarium has one of the largest collections of New Zealand marine life within its confines.
There are also tuatara, lizards, frogs and a turtle refuge. Seahorses from tiny baby "ponies'' to adult New Zealand 'pot-bellied' ones.
On display is a Monster of the Deep - a never seen alive, preserved 5-metre giant squid .
There are also sharks, crayfish, rays, octopus, cod, snapper, hundreds of other fish and rocky shore display.
A turtle refuge contains lizards, frogs, weta and, of course, turtles and a marine mammal display features life-size Orca and Hectors dolphin models.
The aquarium has a tough pool and many highly informative displays and movies.
Feeding times are 11am and 2pm daily.
